Rubber X-bands

The MoMa - Museum of Modern Art in New York - was founded in 1929. MoMA has long recognized the importance of design in our culture, alongside more traditional media such as painting and sculpture, and in 1932 established a curatorial department devoted to architecture and design. This department actively works on democratizing good design which then gets to be part of the MoMa brand.

These X-shaped rubber bands are ideal for organizing papers and cards or sealing small boxes. The Rubber X-Bands were also featured in Humble Masterpieces, a 2004 exhibition mounted by the Department of Architecture and Design.

Each box contains an assortment of four sizes and colors with 16 rubber bands in total.
