This is Belgium Art and Design

Too BAD it's over. That is what we found ourselves thinking after the very first Belgium Art Design show, the unique Ghent-based show for art and design. And PIET moodshop was not the only one to think this. A whopping 12,000 visitors had immediate access to Belgium's finest.

Anyone who visited the Eskimo factory in Ghent last Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday was able to discover the creativity of art and design made in Belgium. Unique artworks and designs by creative local artists, fascinating curators, tastings, photo exhibitions and film screenings are just a few of the exciting things on offer for buyers and spectators. The emphasis was on the overall atmosphere, making the show a hotspot for all art lovers and design addicts.

A cross-border approach in other words. And why not? People who appreciate the work of contemporary artists will probably also be interested in a beautifully designed chair. And people who value high-quality design are unable to ignore an artistic gem. Interests and passions have no boundaries, making BAD the must-see event last weekend.

Like Belgium Art Design, PIET moodshop strongly believes in the power and the added value of Belgian art, designs and products. And how could you not have noticed the booth of PIET moodshop during the show? They allocated us a central booth near the entrance, which we decorated in our own special fashion, as if it was our own showroom. A lot of curious visitors dropped by.

After this unexpected success, one thing is certain: BAD will be back! Take a look at the photos here.
